A home builder’s number one tool for selling their product won’t fit in a tool box. It doesn’t have a power cord or batteries to be replaced. However, this tool can determine the level of success for the company. The tool? A builder’s completed model home.
The best way for potential buyers to evaluate a builder’s work is by going through a model home. The residence provides a sample of the complete building cycle and creates a basis of comparison to other builders. If the model is furnished, you are now able to visualize how your furniture will fit in that space or room.
It’s a common practice for the model to be a showcase of new and exciting things a builder can put into a home. Perhaps it’s a unique species of hardwood floors, a one-of-a-kind tile and backsplash, an out of this world finished basement, or a brand new appliance package being introduced. On the outside, there will be extra landscaping in the front yard for dynamic curb appeal. The backyard may have an extended patio or deck, fire pit, or other entertaining options.
Every tool has an effective life cycle and a model home is no different. When a builder adds a new floor plan or changes the location of the model row in a community, the former model must be sold. It creates a model opportunity for a great deal.
We have several model homes for sale in our most desired neighborhoods. Looking for a home with the master on the main level? Need a home that already has a finished basement ready to entertain? Trying to find a home where the kids can walk to school? These homes have that and more.
