If only.
They’re two words you may know well if you’re in the market for a new home and you’re not finding exactly what you want. If only the kitchen were bigger. If only the entryway looked more grand. If only it had an indoor/outdoor space . . . If you’re one of those shoppers plagued by “if onlys,” come meet with Rodrock Homes.
The company specializes in transforming impossible-to-find wish lists into custom, one-of-a-kind floor plans. Whether you simply have a vision for your perfect place or detailed architectural plans, Rodrock Homes is ready to work with you. Consults are available and chances are there’s both a home and price range that fits you perfectly.
The Sprong’s Experience
The company is currently building distinctive estate homes on sought-after sites in some of Johnson County’s most exclusive neighborhoods, including Pavilions of Leawood, Summerwood Estates, Highlands Creek, and Garnet Hill. Buyers building luxurious homes ranging from $700,000 to over $1,000,000 are finding that custom crafting their dreams with Rodrock Homes is easier and more rewarding than ever.
“This is the sixth house we’ve built from the ground up,” explains Gisele and Brad Sprong. “While we have lived in several states, used many builders and enjoyed each experience, Rodrock Homes’ service level, creative ideas and attention to details have been superior to any other building process we’ve completed. The Rodrock Homes building process has been our best home-building experience of them all.”
Based on the Sprong’s vision of bringing the outside in, the home features plenty of indoor/outdoor spaces for them to enjoy as a family or to host parties. A sweeping four-season room with glass doors wraps around a central swimming pool, an expansive kitchen and great room line another side of the pool, and a first floor master bedroom opens onto the a spa area.
Inside, special requests that fit the family’s lifestyle–like a steam room in the primary suite, an archery range in the basement, and double main-level home offices—are moving from vision to reality as the home takes shape. “The Rodrock Homes team has been very creative in helping us visualize how each room will look when it’s done,” say the Sprong’s, who have appreciated their interactions with all of the company’s employees.
“They’ve been adaptable and always willing to meet on-site at virtually any time to talk ideas through. As an example, several Rodrock Homes’ employees spent one Saturday with us building a ‘mock’ kitchen island out of scrap wood just so we could see what it would look like and share our design with the cabinetmaker. It’s hard to beat the service and creativity Rodrock Homes has provided. ”
“It’s What We Do”
That premiere service and responsiveness are key tenants in his company’s way-of-work, says Rodrock Homes CEO Brian Rodrock.
“It’s what we do,” says Rodrock. “We have the ability to build homes of distinction, offer top-of-the-line service, and take care of clients in the way they deserve to be taken care of,” explains the CEO. And even if a million-dollar home isn’t in your future, Rodrock says his company is in the unique position to deliver premiere service at a price point that fits your budget.
Instead of drawing from scratch, Todd and Candy Moore chose to modify a pre-existing floor plan to create their new haven. “We used Rodrock Homes’ award-winning Hepton floor plan as a springboard for our dream home,” explains Candy Moore. While Moore liked the interior layout of the Hepton, she had new ideas for its exterior.
“I kept showing the [Rodrock Homes’] team photos of home exteriors I loved,” says Candy. “In response, they raised the roof line and added gables without nickel-and-diming us,” says the homebuyer. Candy’s husband Todd wanted a more dramatic entry into the master-suite. Instead of a rectangular hallway, he envisioned a circular rotunda.
In response, the company reconfigured the hallway to make Todd’s vision a reality. “It was fun and surprising,” explains Candy, “because we assumed the team would say ‘it’s impossible.’ Instead they found a way to make it happen.”
Repeat Rodrock Homes’ clients Abhijeet and Namrata Barve made modifications to their home too. “We changed the hearth room to open up the main level even more,” explains Abhijeet, whose goal was to create a light and airy effect.
So whether you’re looking for a more open floor plan, a perfect place indoor/outdoor space, or top-to-bottom luxury for your next residence, don’t settle for an “if only” home. Instead, call for a consultation with Rodrock Homes, tour their furnished models, and get the home you really want to create your own perfect place.
